O'Nigeria my Nigeria I mourn the rupture of your peace.
The failure of leadership has become our collective calamity;
The Peoples Destruction Party has unlocked its Frankenstein the Boko Haram and bombs are rained on the North; Court-jesters are telling us government is on top of the situation, the same situation the National Security Adviser said was created by them the PDP;
On a Father's day tragically at the Igbenedion University Okada two father's will bury the headless bodies of their own; In Kaduna and Zaria close to fifty parents will bury their own, obviously the concomitant collateral damage that a spineless, clueless and directionless government holds out.
Today my beloved Nigeria, you have become the graveyard of your own. I am broken, BUT my solace is in the fact that only when it is dark enough can you see the Stars, we MUST however rise against this orgy of violence, we must today elect to stop this drift down the the precipice, we must choose to walk our talk and save posterity the plunge into abyss.
We must kickthemout with all that God has given us including our votes. May we resolve to halt this madness and may the good Lord grant us the requisite GRACE to so do. May we take eternal solace in the fact that the ALMIGHTY has not gone to sleep and HE alone will lead our triumph over evil. Countrymen and Comrades Together We Can berth the needed CHANGE.
Yes We Can.
May the dead Rest in Peace
- Dr. Chris Nwaokobia Jnr.

One of the solutions to our problem and the fastest way to break loose from the prison of these corrupt leaders is revolution but Nigerians are too afraid of death. What an irony!
ReplyDeleteTrue talk this country is becoming a grave yard,
ReplyDeleteand it's a failed leadership syndrome. Linda
Amen, but Muyiwa revolution is nt a play thing o
ReplyDeleteTHOUGHTS OF A TRUTH-SEEKER..Yet again I see the frenzy and manifest bandwagon-ism evident in the massive rebroadcast of the call for prayers by the Christian Association of Nigeria C.A.N but my take is somewhat different; I think the Clergy must speak out against the ills in government, the Clergy must rise against the corruption in the church, out of the church and in the government; the Clergy must rise to the pedestal where it must become the conscience of our nation or by Jove remain the victim of the impending spiritual doom that the present national crisis signals or how else will GOD judge a Clergy that is heavily mammonized (wealth and money motivated). The Clergy must first REPENT and SPEAK OUT against evil else the call to prayer and the prayers will be like a blow in the wind, the prayer of the wicked/sinner is BUT a reproach, it offends God. The Nigerian Clergy (Christians and Muslims alike) MUST first stand for the TRUTH like JESUS The CHRIST and Prophet Mohammed PBUH did whilst here or continue in the betrayal of their FAITH/RELIGION albeit to their chagrin. If we TRULY love GOD and care about our people the time to WALK the TALK is NOW. Let us converge on the 23rd of June, 2012 at the GANI FAWEHINMI FREEDOM PARK at 1pm to SAY enough is enough. YES WE CAN. - Dr. Chris Nwaokobia Jnr.(Please Rebroadcast if it makes any sense).
ReplyDeleteBrother I totally agree with you.I can see the end to our problems but it's not gonna be easy ...Blood and fire means REVOLUTION. We have to fight to take this country back.
